Wholesale Orders

Have a custom bulk order request?

I’m happy to help!

Order form on bottom of page

*Please note, the order form is no longer for individual custom requests. I am no longer taking custom order requests outside of my current shop sales here or on Etsy. Thank you!

Busydaydreams Pottery is opening up its studio doors to more custom and wholesale order requests. I’ll work with you directly to get a personalized quote for handmade items you’re looking for. I will always be upfront and honest about pricing and turnaround time. Thank you so much!

Please note: As of August 2023, wholesale orders are now for bulk orders only! Bulk means 10+ of a single item. Thank you!

Wholesale Orders are for licensed businesses ONLY. Individuals cannot receive wholesale pricing. I am not accepting wholesale offers to businesses who exclusively sell online and will not authorize third party sales of my items on sites including (but not limited to) Amazon, E-Bay, Walmart, Etsy, etc. You may sell my handmade items at your brick and mortar store and through your brick and mortar store website. Please provide the website and store location and information you plan to use when filling out the custom order/wholesale form in my shop. There is a minimum of 10+ items per bulk order. Examples of these items may include: Mugs with your coffee shop or business name on them, items with your personal logo, bulk orders of coffee scoops, etc. All items from my studio will have my makers mark on them. This is usually a stamp on the bottom of the piece showing it was made by me. Items not for wholesale at this time: Items I have for sale in my shop, pet bowls, miniatures of any kind, and pottery tools I make.

All orders are to be paid in full at time of placing an order. No acceptations.

Placing an order: When it comes to your request, I want to make sure I get all the details needed to make it perfect for you! In order to do that, we have a few things to talk about first. Please know that the following is to cover custom orders for individuals and businesses interested in wholesale/custom orders for business use. Some things may not apply to your order request but feel free to read whatever you need below:

1.) Trademarks and Infringement: It is your responsibility to make sure that no part of any design you request me to make infringes upon any current trademark. I am not liable for any legal or monetary issue that may arise due to infringement. Any expense to my business due to trademark infringement concerning your graphics will be passed onto you/your company.

2.) Copyright and Intellectual Property Infringement: You may have found something you like from social media, in person sales, or online that I have created. Please know that Busydaydreams Pottery is protected by an LLC and I have intellectual rights over all items that are created in my studio. I kindly request that you do not ask another studio, artist, or wholesale operation to copy my designs. This includes any variations of my custom orders or designs that come from my studio. The best way to avoid copyright infringement is to request or create items of original designs that don't incorporate someone else's creative work. If you're using mine or relying on someone else's logo, image, character, etc. to create work you are in violation of intellectual property infringement.

3.) Duplication and Pricing: If you have worked with other professional potters who have made items for you, please note that I will not duplicate other’s work. I can use examples as a jumping off point to what you are looking for, but I will use my own techniques, style, and artistic vision to make the pieces unique. If an order is for resale I have “recommended” pricing points I can discuss with you for anything I create. You do not have to price it as such, but you cannot charge less than what I sell similar items for in my shop. Any photography of items that I have posted on my website, social media, or online store is copyrighted by me and therefore is unavailable for you to use to promote or sell my products in your store. Doing so will result in us dissolving future business with you and your company.

Pricing: Any item that I already sell in my shop is not available for resale. But we can discuss a similar, custom, variation of it for your business use only. If you or your company want a bulk order of items from my shop for personal use, (promotional giveaways, office gifts, etc.) they will not receive a discounted price. All items in my shop are sold at their best possible price.

For items purchased in bulk, personal use or resale, prices will be discussed during the request process. See final request form on bottom of page.

Some shops I sell with offer an agreement of a 85% - 15% split on sales with my items. Meaning I sell my art in their brick and mortar store, they will take a 15% commission, and I take an 85% commission on sales. Shops that due this are responsible for sales tax and transaction fees. Shops are also responsible for items that get broken on their property.

4.) Materials: I used high quality ceramic materials in all my work. This includes the clay and glazes. Glazes are , than paint; they are fired in my kiln and are always food safe. I will do my best to work with what you have in mind for clay and glazes you like, but please know that due to supply and demand I can be somewhat limited. Prices are also subject to change due to the rise in material cost. I will always work with you to be upfront about what materials are available and what your order will cost.

5.) Timeframe: Busydaydreams Pottery is a single potter owned business, I operate from my home studio and all my work is handmade. I strive to produce quality work that please everyone involved with custom orders. Due to the nature of being handmade, no two items are exactly alike. The process of ceramics also puts my estimated timeline to complete an order at no less than 4 weeks after starting. Depending on the time of year, size of the order, and need for you or your company’s logos or other unique designs, this timeline can increase. I do know my limitations and I will always give you an honest estimation of time. However, there will always be a chance of outside circumstances delaying any order (examples: Kiln repairs, breakage, etc.).

6.) Shipping and Breakage: I will use either USPS, FedEx, or UPS services for my shipping purposes and insure the packages. I also make sure to guide you if any claims are needed. Extra handling charges will apply for larger orders needing excessive amounts of packaging materials. I always add enough insurance through mailing services to cover the cost of breakage, so if needed you can file a claim with them directly to receive reimbursement for broken items (which is extremely rare). I will not reimburse you or your company directly for damages done in transit. Please be sure to let me know of any damages done in transit within 24 hours of receiving your order. Buyer is responsible for reporting damages done in transit to carrier. Insurance will cover the costs of damages but it may take the delivery company 2-4 weeks. I will happily remake any item(s) for you that were damaged in transit but you will have to cover the cost of the item(s) and shipping before the replacement order is started. Damages done to transport are not my responsibility. That is why I use insurance to cover the full cost of your items.

7.) Minimum Orders (for wholesale only): For new partners, the first order must exceed $250 and be paid in-full upfront. All subsequent orders must be over $150 and can be paid with a 50% deposit upon order, 50% when an order is ready to be delivered. Orders with uncompleted payments will not be released until verified payment has been received.

8.) Resale Certificate (for wholesale only): I do have a PDF of a Resale Certificate from the State of SC on-hand for anyone wishing to be a Wholesale Partner. You will be asked to fill it out and send back a copy before I start your first wholesale/resale order.

9.) Finished work only: Busydaydreams Pottery does not sell bisque ware. I only sell finished work with my logo(stamp) and glazes. I do not sell bisque items for other individuals or studios to glaze. Thank you for understanding!

***Special note: When it comes to custom orders I can do pretty much anything the client requests. From mugs to miniatures, I do a lot! The form below asks all the questions I need to know, and I found that it saves my clients a lot of time. Please allow at least 48 hours for an email response once you submit your form. Please be as clear as possible when filling out the form so I can better serve your request.
