Short Dog Bowl

Custom ceramic dog bowl. Pamper your pet with a personalized ceramic bowl! I use my own handmade bowls for my dog, so you could say these are pet approved!

There is a lot of information below but I've found that if I can answer most of the questions I've received over the years here, it makes it easier on customers. Thank you for your time!

Names only please! No requests for drawings, decals, fully glazed bowls, etc. Thank you! 

BOWL DIMENTIONS:
X-Large Long - 2.5 inches tall by 7 inches wide
X-Large - 2.5 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide
Large - 2.25 inches tall by 5.25 inches wide
Medium - 2 inches tall by 5 inches wide
Small - 1.75 inches tall by 5 inches wide
XSmall - 1.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide

***Actual bowl sizes may vary slightly as they are hand thrown when ordered and may vary by 0.25 inches or so. If you need help knowing a size that would work best for your pet, please measure the bowl you use currently and then compare that to the sizes I have available.

TIMEFRAME FOR ORDERS:
Bowls are made to order and take a minimum of 3-4 weeks to complete.

Lovingly made by hand in my pottery studio. Each bowl is thrown individually on my pottery wheel. This makes them each unique and their own little works of art! Please know that I do my best to make sure each bowl is thrown the same way and size but no two are exactly alike and may vary slightly in shape, color, and size due to them being handmade.

CUSTOM/PERSONALIZATION OF BOWLS:

Each bowl is handmade on my ceramic wheel. Just pick your style and glaze color and I'll make it for you. Add your pets name in the "personalization" area if you select the style of bowl with a name on it. I can also add something like "water or food" just put it in the "personalization" area. Thanks!

ITEM ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
All bowls are made-to-order, sizes and colors may vary slightly. Colors may look different on your phone or laptop due to lighting/color/contrast settings on your device. I try to photograph them as accurately as possible. The glaze, color you choose, goes on the inside of the bowl. The clay is a natural off-white color and the outside is left unglazed.

**Please note: due to popular requests, bowl sizes have changed. If you placed an order before January 2022 please see the dimensions of the bowls now. Sizes are clearly listed in the description and buyers are responsible for determining what size they need. I recommended measuring current bowls for new orders to match what I have available or if you had a previous order, please measure before you buy. All sales are final and no returns or exchanges can be made due to any choices on the buyer's end. Thank you for understanding!

All pet bowls in my shop are dishwasher and microwave safe. Please be mindful of taking bowls from hot to cold or cold to hot too fast, thermal shock may damage the bowls.

All custom orders will be made by what you select in the options while ordering. This includes glaze colors and name. If you message me with a change please do so within 12 hours after purchase. If you make an order with a personalization but a different request in a "message to seller" I will not make those changes. I go by what you type out in your personalization area, including what you select first for glaze colors. Please note that Frost Blue is a matte finish and Satin Blue is not glossy like the other glazes. Unless I receive a message within your order specifying what you would like instead of the options I have available I will not message you to follow up with any additional questions. Thank you for understanding!

I'm also happy to write a name, a word like food or water, or leave it blank! I am not longer taking requests for paws, bones, or other designs on these bowls.

Please keep in mind that I order my clay and materials from different companies and each batch of materials can vary slightly. Also, the atmospheric conditions in the kiln can make your pieces look slightly different from each other. This has to do with clay chemistry and is out of my control. But, think of it as each of your pieces being its own unique work of art! Thank you for understanding!

Donation Requests:
Due to the high volume of requests I recieve about free bowl donations, I unfortunately cannot donate anything. As much as I would love to be able to give everyone who asks a free item for events or autions, as a small business I can't give to all the requests I recieve.

I do use profits from my pet bowls to donate to my local shelters and rescues I volunteer with. Including where I adopted one of my dog from! I appreciate your purchase and understanding! I love when people give back when they can. And every bowl purchase helps my local shelters and rescues as well, so thank you!


Material Information:
All materials used in my studio are food safe. No lead or heavy metals have ever been used in my studio or kilns. The companies I purchase my materials from have met food safety guidelines. I use mid to high fire stoneware clays which are also food safe. If we agree to cancel an order, you are responsible for a 15% restock fee of your order total, including taxes.

All orders are covered with up to $100 in insurance. If you need more insurance for your order total please reach out to me prior to purchase. 

Keep box and all packing materials in case order arrives damaged. Buyers are responsible for insurance claims to USPS.
